He seemed to be a little upset with the other Eagle in the cove and up they went. If I only could have gotten both in the lens. Would uh, should uh, couldn't.

I like the wing position and open beak. I might have lowered the ISO since the shutter speed was quite high.

Good result, Bill. Agree with Axel re wing position and open beak. How did you meter for this? Values match sunny f16 but light angle looks lowish and some noise in the underwing so maybe underexposed a little at capture? If an automated exposure mode I would expect some +EC would have been needed.

Love the wing position. Fine detail is somewhat lacking; was this a heavy crop? I agree with Tony that it appears to have been slightly underexposed in camera, leading to some noise in the darks during subsequent recovery.

Can't fool you guys. I was trying to get fishing shots down in the cove against dark trees and water in late afternoon light (5:30) when up they went. He was screaming like a Banshee I didn't have time to change as I followed them up. I'm so afraid I will blow those whites anymore I am reluctant to take too much light on these guys and the Ospreys. It's a challenge. It pushes my abilities a little. Thanks for the comments.
