Landscape Lens

Dear All

I would like to buy one lens for Landscapes. I am a Nikon user.
Can some one suggest lens ? 14-24/F2.8 is in mind , what do you say

14-24 is simply the best wide angle zoom lens ever made, razor sharp, corner to corner, it doesn't take polarizers though.

Will that affect ,
as I will be buying it once only , would love to study hard , in India 14-24 cost around 1900USD

Polarizers are good to have for landscape lenses. I have NO idea about the 14-24 since I do not shoot Nikon, but if not polarizers, you certainly need ND filters in a bright place like India.
