    A little bigger crop than I would like, but this was the closest I managed to get to this guy. I had better luck this morning but I haven't finished processing yet.

    The detail holds up well to the crop. I like the serene mood of the image. The low angle, eye contact, and sharpness are all excellent.

    Nice angle, look-back pose and the details look quite good. I might increase saturation a few points.

    Thanks for the comments Doug and Axel. I was thinking of increasing the saturation, but I liked the monochromatic feel.

    There is not much to criticize on this one. I like the muted tones, and the attitude of the plover. Not to mention the low angle of view and the perfect sharpness. Great shot!

    Aidan, I love the pose esp. since it's showing the underside a bit. The BG looks very nice. This looks good for a large crop
