    Harshad:

Nice control of your yellows. Did you need to pull them back at all in post?

Sharp, excellent DOF. Interesting perch, nicely scaled.

I might consider smooth the blurred branch(?) in the background, just smooth the the lower edge a bit more. Because it cuts behind the birds head, it is more noticeable.

In look back poses, the classic is pose is with the head parallel to the sensor plane. You do get better eye contact with this pose however.

    Cheers

    Randy

Great shot Harshad! The BG, exp, and sharpness are fine!! I find the head angle a little extreme but it is good none the less! Good work!

Cool-looking bird, I like the lemony yellow and raised crest. Sharpness looks good, too. I only wish for more eye contact.

They used to nest on Coconut trees in our backyard when I was a kid. Great seeing this guy Harshad bhai. Reminds me of my childhood days.
I used to collect all the fallen nests of these guys.

A little less head turn would have been just perfect, this one still works though. Great light, pose, BG, comp and colors.
    Congratulaitons!
