    Hi Arash. I like the pose and the feather colour and detail. The head looks a bit soft to me, is this due to a large crop? I would place the bird a bit higher in the frame.

    Hi Dave, thanks for the comments, yes the birds has some motion blur as 1/1000sec wasn't really enough to freeze this guy, I should have used 1/2000 sec :D

    Banking pose and open beak are great. It does look quite soft and I could see this as a vertical crop, too.

    I think the softness is the combination of shutter speed and panning technique, more so the panning technique, but following this guy would be hard for sure. Love the spread tail! :)

    Thanks guys, Akos you are absolutely right, panning is difficult with a monster rig when action happens so quickly!
