James, I like the pose w/ the ruffled up feathers.Nice environment image w/ all the moss. Might de-sat a tiny bit.
I really like the busy look here with so much to look at, also nice DOF. The comp would be much stronger with the Heron more into the LLC. Still a lovely image though.

Love these kinds of shots, simply beautiful. I agree with toning down the saturation a bit, but such a minor improvement overall.
