    Default Black-bellied Plover Portrait

I photographed bathing shorebirds while lying on the beach. Black-bellied Plovers are quite skittish but this one decided to check me out and he got so close that I couldn't fit him in the frame anymore and went for a portrait. I like the eyelashes and leathery-looking bill.

Axel, Way to much detail here for my taste, just kidding.;) This is awesome love that eye and the beak texture is outstanding. BG is also pleasing, wouldn't change a thing here. Congrats
