Denise, the delicate layer blurs you have been doing of late are really special.
Kind of getting a "Denise" signature style. The pp is most pleasing.

Here is a slight variation and you may be able to incorporate this some......if you l;ike it.
I just now made it up!!
Duped your original to new layer, pinched it about 60% and then went to hue/sat
and altered the color on this layer......masked the layer and blended in some of original from below
    from center of bloom.

Of course I added canvas etc.....hope you like.
Keep these coming, I like 'em!

I think it looks great Dave! I love using the pinch filter, didn't think of it for this. I didn't care for the stem-it was an after thought. I like your BG better, but I was trying to get a monochromatic look for the theme. But I will reproduce this and keep it,thanks!!

so glad you tolerate my playing and this is only playing, as
your original is awesome....here's a more monochromatic rework.
Just duped layer and altered hue/sat and blended "overlay" with some masking.
    Final touchup with sponges/sat brush.

I really like these.....you have given me many ideas for pp

Love the color tones on this! All three versions are great; in fact, I don't think I could pick a favorite :)

Denise, I believe you did well adding a stem. It has the effect of anchoring the flower...
