Lovely light in the image. I will be interested in any suggestions to reduce jpg artifacts also.

Hi Harshad - I don;t know that it is possible to reduce the JPG artifacts - the only way to get a smaller file size is to use more aggressive compression along with the deletion of some data - which is what you are doing by saving at JPG quality 7.
As you decrease the save size the artifacts get worse.

Happy to be proved wrong should someone know any better.

What beautiful light! You might try Topaz DeJpeg if you haven't already. It works within PS as plug-in filter. Sometimes it seems to help; other times it doesn't seem to do anything. I have had the best luck with it when converting old images that were shot directly in jpeg, so it may not be what you need here. Go to www.topazlabs.com.

    Hi Harshad,
Are you doing your corrections on 16 bit or 8 bit? You tend to get more banding and artifacts when working on 8 bit.......so work on the 16 bit and as a final step knock it down to 8 bit and then save.......see if that helps.

Harshad, Beautifully rendered image. The lighting and silouettes work very well together. IMO cropping a bit off the right side takes the lit area out of the center and strengthens the image. Nice one!

    Hi Harshad,
Agree with Roman on the 16 to 8 bit conversion, your repost looks much better...
