    Default Rufescent Prinia

This little fella kept me entertained all afternoon coming back with all sorts of bugs to feed the chicks. Taken at Bukit Tinggi in Pahang, Malaysia. Too bad I did not manage to catch his whole body square on to the focal plane of the sensor.

Beautiful image with nice HA and details , BG is awesome and liked the position of perch in frame
Food in beak is a big bonus

Nicely clean and simple Phil. Lovely comp. Good sharpness with that combo. That looks very much like a Dragonfly Nymph? Nice shot and well done..

I think the background has a richness which really sets off the rather plain colour of the bird. I like the expression of determination on the bird's head which you've captured very well and the strength of both this and the detail in the food means that the oof tail is not a problem for me at all, in fact I find it draws me to the head even more. But then I'm not a purist.

An excellent image, there's not much to complain. Good clean and simple background helps the bird pop out, the focus on the eye is spot on.

Wonderful capture- I like the alert pose with prey, diagonal perch and lovely background. Sharp too.

Very nice Phil - I don't think the focus is a problem, the slightly oof tail certainly doesn't draw your attention like some oof elements can do. Love the pose and diagonal perch

    cheers
