beautiful pose/eye contact!
You did well to get close - hawks being as shy as they are. For those unfamiliar, this is a young bird - hatched this year. Technicals are great. I like the balance of the bird & the perch. My only nit is that I wish for a slightly bluer sky - perhaps a bit more saturation overall would do it. .
beautiful bird nicely perched ,Nice expo , HA and sharpness
If mine , I may crop half of the tree trunk , BG needs NR on it
TFS
I like the pose, eye contact and the vegetation in the BG. The image could go a bit darker for my taste.
Hi Joe,
I like the basic image design but would take a bit off the bottom. Sharp, perfect EXP, and a good head angle. Was this bird attracted into photographic range with a plastic owl?

Excellent bird, nice pose, I like the tree too. Crop from bottom would be nice.
Also agree about adding bit of blacks in ACR. Nicely done...
Nice sharp image in a beautiful setting.
