    The attached was taken in early misty light at Merritt Island NWR. I modified the image by adjusting contrast and brightness, as well as adding the directional spot lighting effect.

    Mark, Is this a large crop? I ask because I'm seeing alot of JPEG compression (pixelization-sp?) on my monitor. I like the color tones and the gradient BG. The lighting looks nice also.

    Nice use of colored backround. The bird is centered and since it is moving to the left I would have placed it more to the right. I would crop out about half the sky....

    I also think the repost is an improvement with the increased sat and the different placement of the bird. I can now see the bird is going away instead of coming towards you. With the crop on the bottom the top appears more appealing to my eye...
