    Default Theme: Monochromatic/Re-Create

    I first selected and copied the flower. I used a "twirl" filter on the BG image and re-pasted the flower. I flattened the image and applied a gradient mask. I then played with the contrast a bit. That was fun Dave and Denise!

    Nick, First of all I added Theme to the title because even thou it is a re-create your image is still eligible for the contest. Nice color tones here and a unique look. I might prefer a slightly less twirled BG. But it is nice as presented-and you gave me an idea!! Thanks for sharing your PP Steps.

    Very nice color tones, Nick. I would prefer to see a smoother, more blurred twirl effect, but I like your concept.

    Hi, Nick. Great way to combine the theme and the recreate. I think the twirl and the colors work well here.

    I like the twirl effect and works very well. Great monochrome effect.

    Love the color and tone. Think I'd go with the smoother twirl, too, to make the center pop more, but overall a great idea. Gives me someting to think about
