    Here's my version of re-create. I first applied channel mixer, hue-saturation, and a curves adjustment on just the BG to desaturate and tone it. I then applied another hue-saturation layer and two color fill layers over the whole image, applied a touch of noise and the dust and scratches filter, and finally added a light vignette. Any C&C are welcome!

    Nice image and application Christopher. I like the separation of the BG and the detail of the petals.

    Christopher, Nice job w/ this. I think the softened color BG really adds a nice touch. The vignette is just enough IMO.
