And that isn't an easy image to make! NICE JOB. I suppose I could say eye contact would have been nice and maybe remove some of the greenery closest to the tail...Ok I did say it;)

But you have such nice accurate color, good fur detail, sharp, feel free to ignore I said it.:)

Joel, this is very cool! I've only seen a flying squirrel once, and I wouldn't call the nose peaking out of a nest cavity much of a view. Great work at night with flash to photograph this cute critter. I think you could sharpen this a bit more for web presentation, but I don't think I'd change much else. I'd love to know what focal length was used here, and if you had the chance for a closer view of the head? Fine work!

I am agree with the previous posters here. Good recommendations from them.

I think this image is pretty cool and I have never seen one of these guys before.

28-105 zoom, with a flashlight cradled underthe lens. Several squirrels flew out of the darkness at once to an elevated deck where residents had placed nuts along the rail. Critters flying from limb to limb over three trees, then to the rail where some would take nuts from your fingertips. Perpetual motion by several animals at once in near-total darkness. A good light and short tele were tools of choice.
