    Captured on Sabljaci lake (Croatia),last spring.

    20D+ 100-400@400 ....f/7.1, 1/800 s,-0.33 eV, ISO 400, on bean bag

    Very nice colors and pose. I think I'd crop out at least half of the out of focus foreground, and get rid of the stick / blade of grass sticking up under the tail feathers.

    I like this one very much. Soft light and background, great exposure, perfect head angle and good use of depth of field. Wish you could see the feet.
    The little blade of grass doesn't bother me, it's not intruding on anything and gives the bird some balance.

    Blade of grass works for me. Low angle is the way to go with this type of image.

    Hi,
    I like the original post more, because it's softer and very smooth...
    The repost looks a bit oversharpened on my monitor.

    Very lovely picture with beautiful colours. I like the OOF grass.

    Manos...thx for repost but grass works for me too because of that I did`t clone....on my monitor repost looks little oversharpened too.....waiting for second opinon :)

    this is a very beautiful photo. love the soft background and sharpness on the bird. Having seen the repost i would leave the blade of grass there

    Nice image Marko and great low angle.. I'm fine with the original image but I would like to see a touch more catchlight in the eye.

    Second post works MUCH better, focusing in your main subject 110%.
