Awesome details and pose captured Ken. Like too the water drops on the whiskers. Could do with a tickle on the contrast but minor point really. VWD!

This fella has lots of character and another VWD for the whisker/water drop detail.

Ken, excellent image and I can only agree with comments about the detail of water droplets on the whiskers and the water splashes around the walrus. I would also like to see a slight contrast adjustment.

    Ken,

Agree with the above points and have some suggestions on the processing.

In the repost I cropped some off the top. I did a USM sharpening at 175/0.3/0. I then did a local contrast enhancement using USM at 20/50/0. I feel the LCE is a better alternative here then a curves adjustment to increase contrast.

great portrait of Winston Churchill here, Ken ;)
Robert's repost has made it pop nicely. I would only add another round of NR on the BG...

Nice details Ken, some more contrast adj required as noted.

Thanks for the comments and the repost (Thanks a lot Robert) which is a lot nearer my Tiff, but still better.

I must remember to check my JPEG conversions properly!!!

Great portrait. Almost has a regal look to him. Robert's repost improves an already good shot.
