    I remember this little guy and like the wide crop and swallowing pose. The whites are too bright for my taste.

    I think this is a greater yellowlegs.

    Great moment, excellent bird, the BG is fantastic! Like it a lot.
    Easiest way to ID yellowlegs is to compare the length of the bill to the width/diameter of the
    head. If the bill is longer, it is Greater. If the bill is same or shorter than the head width, it is Lesser.
    I believe that would make this one Greater, Axel is right.

    Thanks Ilija, I wasn't sure. I was looking for a turned up top bill-but really couldn't tell with it open. Good to know.:)Thanks.

    This is really very good Denise. Fabulous light and angle of view and the fish!!!! On my!!!!!! Congrats. Whites looking good on my monitor. :)

    Hey Denise,
    Whites look good on this end too! Love the added catch/action too.....just adds to an otherwise static pose....add the sweet light.....puts this over the top!
