    Default LOST IN THE COSMOS

Obviously, my big fat finger has hit a QuickMask button (or something) and now my edited TIFF is locked and saved as a (QuickMask/16) instead of a (RGB*16) and is preventing me from further edit on this image.

I have shut down PS and gone back in only to find it still set. I'm stuck! Will I have to dump the image and re-edit the NEF? How do I get out of this position? :o:(

    This worked for me.
    Go Save As:
    Select, Save as .Tiff
Select, Save Options as Copy (not alpha channels)

Go to Open and select the newly saved .tiff file.

    Default Thanks James

The part I didn't have was "save as copy"! I envisioned a complete re-do and hate it when I can't figure something out (which is often) so I really appreciate your help. It worked immediately. Now I can post my image as I am sure this will go to cover on National Geo. :D

    Thanks - Bill
