    I found this guy one morning in the Pacific coastal lowlands.

    I would give a large ammount of NR to the BG and I would also tone down the bird a bit. A little more room to the right would've improved comp IMO.
    Still, amazing species, pose, light, detail, colors and sharpness. I love raptors :) Congratulations.

    Good action well caught.

    The BKGR is detracting from the subject but I like the detail and catchlight in the eye.
