I dont think I have seen a Black Bear with fish before, only Brown bears so this is different for me :) Very nice composition and the wagging tail and resulting spray adds so much IMO :)

    Chas,
Nice image. As Tell writes, I too have only seen images of brown bears with fish. I like the water dripping from the bear and the water spray falling from the fish. Light appears to be low. I only wish that the bear would have raised its head and shaken the fish so that the eye contact with the bear would have been better. Overall a fine image. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

Better eye contact as mentioned would be nice, but the scarcity of this capture and the wagging tail more than make up. Nicely done.

Interesting to see something other then a Brown Bear. Have a good time up north.

lovely shot yet again Chas! the blurred fish has high impact for me, and love the angle and DOF with the exposure on the blacks.

Excellent job Chas. We always see brown bear fishing not a black bear. A unique image.
