This was taken yesterday morning with 50D, 100mm/2.8 macro and 38mm ET, 1/90, f/8, ISO400. Photo is also cropped. I ran two passes of USM 15/60/4 to high light the light and shadows. Then by mistake I hit sharpen edges, liked it and left it at that for sharpening. Dave

Hi dave - Like the diagonal composition - Usually with a Macro shot you will want to be using a large DOF - Somewhere up around the F16-F22 or even higher. The DOF is very very shallow with a macro.
    Like the pattern of stripes.
    Good Show :)

    Hi Dave,
I like the diagonal composition, image and capture...you have fine details on the grass blade and the water droplets catch and reflect the light and casts the shadows very well...I like this...well done...

Nice, like the shape from the water droplets then the stripes going through them, the only thing bothering me is the spot right next to the blade of grass in the BG, maybe make it lighter, other then that creative and well done:)

Thanks for looking and commenting. I had also wondered about that bit of flare and left it in. I will also need to remind myself about those high f stops. Dave
