Not a perfect landing but I think it finally succeeded getting on the stick. I believe this is a laughing gull, shot on Biscayne Bay.

That is a funny image Connie! I bet you were laughing as well? :D
Well executed image. I think you should have a caption competition for this one.
Hi Connie, I think you captured a unique moment here. Nice position w/ the wings -wish for some eye contact-but this is still an interesting shot.
Yikes, this really does look painful. I guess this guy needs some more flying lessons. :) I like the sharpness and wing position and would tone down the highlights on the head some more. Thanks for the smile!
Wow, that is funny. Hope its ego wasn't hurt too much! I agree with Axel about the whites on the head, but all else looks good.
Connie I can hear the air brakes screeching now. Very funny.
This does look like a painful moment from this point of view. Did you notice the bird has what appears to be eyebrows?
this must be very painful for bird , Fantastic timing

Adds new meaning to the phrase 'clipped at the post'. Glad it did not end up being a ring neck. Agree with Axel on the whites. Thanks for sharing the lighter moment.
Gulls get a bad rap usually but provide excellent opportunities as shown here. Love the detail and clarity here Connie.
