Another beautiful image made by you, very good texture details, the shadow and dark background sure help emphasis the shape of the garlic. The reflection at the bottom is a bit distracting to me.

Hi Mirenchu - IMHO looks just that tad dark and could use some a little sharpening - Really just personal taste though.
Used shadow/highlight and added some sharpening (I was lazy - sharpened the whole image - instead of doing it selectively)
    Like it a lot :)

    Hi Lady Mirenchu,
I like the composition and capture...you have fine details and the play between light and shadows is very good...Mr. Peters' repost added the extra punch to make it pop out of the frame...its a different look and feel, depending on the mood that you want to convey...looking good...I like it...looking forward to more...

Something in the middle, OP was too dark IMO. Both look good to me.

I like what you did, I was going to say it needed to be a little lighter, but Lance fixed that, Love the reflection a lot and the colors of the garlic, nice job:)

Agree with Lance about personal taste. I tend to favor the softness of the original which sets a mood rather than the starkness of the repost...all subjective!
