    Default Theme: Monochromatic - Leaf

This fallen leaf was sitting on an old, mossy log. I converted the image to B&W and then used hue/saturation and a color fill layer to add the color tone. Any C&C are welcome!

Hi Christopher...I like the image very much. Your leaf placement(off center) and on a diagonal is strong along with a pleasing color tone. The moss pattern as a backround is a great choice and works very well. Very nicely handled!!

I like this a lot for the reasons already mentioned and because what appear to be slightly darkened edges keep my eyes inside the frame.

Love the details on the leaf and repeating pattern of the moss, good eye in finding these.

Excellent composition. Background pattern, the leaf and the color tone, all works perfectly for this image.

Christopher, I like the textured/pattern looking BG. The dark vignette adds some interest also. Nice diagonal placement of the leaf.

I like this a lot, Christopher, for the above mentioned reasons, especially the background. Nice choice with the color tones.

nice work sir...."only" possible suggestion would be to shape the leaf
a bit more with enhanced shadows and highlights

Thanks for the suggestion, Dave. Now that I look at it, a little more work on the leaf might be a good idea.

Nicely done Christopher! I like the color tone and especially like the hole in the leaf, which adds a nice compositional touch. The leaf has a nice "silvery" sheen to it.
