    Default Neon pop

This started out as a macro lens photo of a globe thistle, but I wanted it to become a neon burst of color almost like fireworks. I used several layers including PS glowing edge filter, also ColorEfex detail stylizer linear burn blended with the base photo at 35% opacity. I like the neon color against the black background. Not sure whether I cropped it right or not. Also I had to resize to 730 pixels wide (JPEG 5) to fit within the 200 kB limit, so it's a little small. Comments much appreciated.

I think you achieved your desired effect here Keith. The black BG really makes this "pop" off the page-Well done.

Hi Keith, I like the effect and your use of color. The black backround really makes the thistle stand out. Nice the stem is on a slight diagonal but would want to see a bit more of it...

Excellent effect and well thought out, love all the glowing colors and black background to make them even more stand out. Very sci-fi look.
