wanted to try a "more hairy" extraction with Topaz's new ReMask, so a nutria
from the archives seemed a prime subject. This is with 2 "refined" sections
and was done very quickly. BG is a lake reflection scene from 2 years ago.
See the far shoreline at the very top. And just blended the opacity of the land
in front of the feet to fade into the water a bit

Just playing, thanks for looking in and c/c

Dave, I am at this very moment starting to extract my first subject from the BG w/ this program.I'll keep you posted! I love the way the fur and the whiskers came away fro the BG. usually that takes alot of time. Nice blending of the land. Looks great!!

I agree it looks terrific, Dave - outstanding work! I love the razor sharp muskrat (?) against the painterly background. I've been thinking about getting the new ReMask, this cinches it!

Dave, I like the sharpness and the lighting on the Nutria. The colored water adds to the interest and frames the animal nicely. There is one tree reflection going into the animals head which I find distracting....

Dave, Incredible extraction! And I really like the bright colors in the reflections and the sharpness of the nutria in the final creation. I think that little yellow dot by his foot needs to go. :)

And, btw, do people really eat those things? I wonder if they taste like chicken?

Super job with the extraction, Dave. The details on the nutria combined with the colors and light in the background really make this one stand out. Maybe a slight ccw rotation for the background to level the shoreline at the top?
