This isn't too far "out of the box". It's an image I've played with quite a bit over the past few years, but I don't think I've posted it here. From the original, I just added a gradient map, some masking and a little Topaz adjust. All c&c welcome.

Hi Cindy, Agree with Paul about the direction all the giraffes are looking. I like the overall color which adds a nice feel to the image. The comp is good with sharp subjects. I would have preferred a separation between the 2 giraffes on the left otherwise nicely handled...

Very beautiful image, Cindy!!! Love the colors and lighting. I agree with Dave that more separation between the two left giraffes would be nice, but very good image regardless!

I love the colors in this! They are totally believable for the giraffes and for the scene.

Thanks to all for your comments. Dave M - yes, more separation would have been preferred. I tried to get our vehicle repositioned, but the giraffes loped off. Dave P - good catch regarding the eye of the taller giraffe. Thanks!

This is lovely Cindy! Excellent composition and the color you chose really conveys the feeling of the desert. The alert poses looking in the same direction make for a great capture. Congrats!
