    This summer after touring Brittany for a week we went to Normandy for a few days. There I saw many of the landing beaches in WW2 and went to the American cemetery. It was a sobering experience to see the acres and acres of gravestones with the names of our fallen heroes. Even though there were many people there I didn't hear any loud noises but a more quiet respect. I was also impressed with the manicured grounds and the meticulous care that was given the place. A visit I won't soon forget...

    It is a sobering place, never been there in person have seen many images !!!!
