    The African Sacred Ibis occurs in marshy wetlands and mud flats, both inland and on the coast.
    It feeds on various fish, frogs, small mammals, reptiles and smaller birds as well as insects.
    Venerated and often mummified by Ancient Egyptians as a symbol of the god Thoth,
    the Ibis was according to Herodotus and Pliny the Elder also invoked against incursions of serpents.

    Very nice, I like the angle giving us a good look at that wonderful profile these birds offer. The exposure seems right on to me, and nice and sharp too. The branches on the left seem to add balance to the overall shot.

    Thanks Connie, yes I tried one without the branches but this did look better to me as well.

    Great landing pose Dave, and sharp where it counts. I like the exposure on the blacks, pretty much nailed it there. Im going the other way, and feel removing the foliage LLC will still work in the comp.

    Agree with Stu re: LLC branches. I don't think they offer that much balance for my taste at least. :) Anyway, nice pose and solid exposure. Love the blurred wings. Those add a great sense of motion.
