    “Hard At Work ”

This little fellow was busy working the flowers in Pops’ garden. He was painted with a Nikon D3 using a Nikkor 300mm f/2.8G IF-ED VR lens, with a Nikkor 1.7 T/C, and a 25mm extension tube.

    Image Solution:
    focal length @ 510mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / matrix metering / ISO @ 1,250 /1/640sec - f/16 / exposure comp @ -0.3EV / white balance @ cloudy / AF Mode @ AF–C, dynamic range /color mode @ sRGB / tone comp @ +1 degree / hue adjustment @ +1 degree / saturation factor @ +2 degrees / lighting solution – ambient light / support platform – monopod assist.

    Comments greatly appreciated...

I have his cousin here in my garden! wonderfully sharp. you even got the sky reflection in the eye. wonderful HA and eye contact, of course. like the energy with the bee coming out from behind the center of the blossom.

Sharp as a Tack - as always - Love the composition, the placement of the bee in the frame is very good. Colours and BG all compliment each other. :)
    Lovely work :)

Sensational detail and colour. You caught him at a great angle. The whole picture is vibrant with life.

Great control of DOF and wonderful sharpness without looking overshapened Gus. Do see areas that have been burned though (highlights).
