    Hey Jeff, I find this a very interesting image. For a moment it looks like the heron has already landed, with its feet and tail touching the water :)

    Tech-wise it looks a bit bright though. May very well have something to do with the light you had to deal with. I wonder if something could be done to it.

    If this were mine, I'll keep it nonetheless.

    I like the repost better too. Light may not be perfert (wing shadow on the body) but I still like this image a lot. Sharp and good details on the heron, I also like how the eye and the beak is pointing toward the white thing in the water which I assume it is a fish.
