    Found this youngster at a local park fishing in the water washed pushed up from a very high tide.

    1/640, f8, ISO400

    Nice colors, detail and eye contact. Light is very good. I would clone out the OOF branches in FG. Also IMO there is too much space above the bird, a tighter crop will put more emphasis on the BCNH yet show plenty of habitat.

    Grace, Beautiful habitat image w/ nice lighting. I like the details and the pose. I might be tempted to tone down the dark area on top left just a bit. I like your placement in the frame. Nicely done.

    I like the habitat and you composed it well. Good detail on the bird, especially the eye. I might be tempted to crop off some of the top.
