    Glenn:

Very nice pose, coming at us and good timing on landing. Sharp, with nice background.

If it were mine, I might desat the red channel just a few points so that the plant isn't quite so overpowering.

I can see the image without the lower leaf as well. Might be interesting to try a version without, and see what you think about the balance.

    A beauty for sure.

Very nice Glen. Good landing capture. I might clone out the bottom red leaf as well. Good flash lighting on the body, but I find on the head a bit too much. Hard to cope with the iridescent feathers I know. Ecuador for hummingbirds is next on my list of workshops to do.

Nice details and wing position, exposure is very good IMO. Agree with toning down the reds and perhaps removing the lower leaf.

With work this good, I'd like to see a larger version. Good clean bg and colors.

I like the detail, colour and pose of the bird.
I agree with Randy on the persh being overpowing and think his suggestion will improve the image.
Have you considered a vertical comp?

Hi Glenn, its a fantastic pose and very sharp capture. I agree with Randy on desaturating the red channel little bit. Also, I can see the whites on the plants (I guess its due to multiple flashes) which seems to make it a studio photograph in my opinion. If it were mine I would clone them out.
Congrats!! on a great shot though.

Agree on removing the lower leaf. I like the perch as is, I feel the contrasting (dominant) green on the bird and red colors of the perch work perfectly in this instance. What a great pose too! :)
