    Fond this young bird half way between the nest and Grand River.

    I don't think he felt like sharing the fish with you. :) I like the pose, sharpness and open beak and might crop half of the perch and add some more at the top instead. Lightening the shadow of the beak would be another option.

    Love it. Extra points for the direct stare and open beak. A couple of points off for the white halo around the bird.

    Cool pose and stare. Maybe reduce the contrast a bit.
