Not sure why the image size comes up huge when I view it. Makes it kinda hard to get a real sense for the image.

Anyways, I like the over the shoulder look, but find the to lines that cross the image just a touch distracting.

Danny, Not bigger than usual. I have noticed that some people don't post full size. Not sure why.
    The lines are wavelets

Do you like the repost better?

Good HA to go with that particular body angle. Great low angle, and I like the strewn pebbles. I agree about the two lines - but kinda hard to avoid them completely with continuous incoming wavelets. Maybe they could be simply toned down to minimize their impact.

Danny, the image comes up fine for me (1020 pixles wide)...is it still looking huge for you?

Denise, I forgot one could post at 1020 pixels wide. My bad.

Denise, you reposted as I typed and you toned down the lines somewhat as I suggested (you read my mind??)! I do find its an improvement, but if you could get them to be as light as the area above the head I think that would be good.

I like the angle, sharpness, light and look-back pose. The repost looks better and at the danger of sounding like a broken record (what is the digital equivalent?) the whites above the bill look too bright.

Daniel, Here is a repost w/ the lines lightened
Axel, I also toned down the tiny bit of white in the head and tail.

Denise. that looks MUCH better IMO...check the difference the first and last versions. Even the plover seems to pop more because of that tweak.

Third repost is way to go. Love this species that I saw just a few days ago. Love the treatment you gave to the BG.

Really nice image, Denise. I think your bird's eye is perfect and my eye is drawn right in to it.
