Nice picture, looks over sat to me, these guy's need little help in that regard if exposed in the correct light. Looks a tad flat too, maybe motion or NR?
What method did you use to sharpen?

I like the bird, the REFL, and especially the leaf. The SAT and EXP look OK from here.

Patrice, The duck looks good to me and it is on my "wishlist" The watercolor and small ripples really add to the design of the image. I like the lone leaf also. Nicely done.
Saturation and contrast looks good from here too. If anything you could raise the colour temp a bit. I would also crop from bottom - to just above your signature. I absolutely love the inclusion of the leaf...great touch!
I am currently using Aperture with my mac. It is not the best for shaperning. I was looking for loading and using sharpener pro 3,0 (NIK Software) but unfortunately the new leopard version (snow leopard) seems to have some difficulty with this software. If you have any idea, I would please to know it!
For your information, I have done more than 200 pictures yesterday with this nice duck and there is no one similar. Every time the angle changes, the colors for the head and the neck are different due the "irisation" effect.
I tried Aperture and it was too slow with for my MacBook. I did not upgrade to Leopard, will wait for kinks to work out; are you on a MacBook or tower (I have the small one).
The picture is fantastic, as you stated, maybe the angle changing has caused the effect I mentioned, the environment (e,g, water looks different than actual water). It really does not matter. You are the photographer and decide what we are to see. I try and keep it as real as possible (most of the time) some time I stray. This is a beautiful picture. All my comments are based on what I think is reasonable, I am not a fan of worked images. Given you comment now I understand - It is a beautiful picture.
Regarding sharpening (this is an art - takes months to learn),..I use high-pass before image adjustments and Smart Sharpening after resizing. Drop me a PM, love to take this off-line and discuss.
