    Default Ruddy Duck Male

Captured at the San Elijo Lagoon in Cardiff, Ca. in the late afternoon with some nice light. I was laying on a causeway at waterlevel to make this image. The causeway is covered with duck droppings, so some sacrifice of clothes had to be made.

Wonderful light, low angle, and sharpness attempt to offset the filthy bill.... I do like the HA and the sweet BKGR too.

Nice image and solid techs. I like the +1/3 to keep it to the right. Great as presented, I might crop a tad from the top - well done.

Nice and sharp. Shame the bill is yuck, but that's life. Great water droplets too and the BG is super. Agree with JC$ above that a bit off the top would work well. I would miss the gorgeous blue color though. :)

Lovely detail, BG and light - definitely worth braving the duck muck for :)
