    Nice ambient shot although I would have like the bird to be more to the left and I wonder if a lower angle would have improved the ambient/BG or not.
    Nice light, detail, sharpness and colors.

    I like the sharpness and setting and wish the head were angled more towards you. I might crop a bit off the left to get the bird out of the center.

    Nice setting, and agree about HA and and also a slight crop at left - although it doesn't need too much cropping (bird is not currently centered as there is much more room in front of bill than behind the tail). Going lower may have been an option...but doing this one must be careful not to have the head merge with the far shoreline (or having said shoreline too close to the head), so I think this one works as is for that reason. Good natural "feel" to this.

    This is a tough setting for this bird, it seems to blend in a bit too much with the water. But wow, you nailed the details and exposure on the bird's feathers.
