    Default "Golden Boy"

    “Golden Boy ”

This little fellow came to visit my Pops garden. She was painted with a Nikon D3 using a Nikkor 300mm f/2.8G IF-ED VR lens, with a Nikkor 1.7 T/C, and a 12mm extension tube.

    Image Solution:
    focal length @ 510mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / matrix metering / ISO @ 640 /1/500sec - f/8 / exposure comp @ 0EV / white balance @ cloudy / AF Mode @ AF–C, dynamic range /color mode @ sRGB / tone comp @ +1 degree / hue adjustment @ +1 degree / saturation factor @ +2 degrees / lighting solution – ambient light / support platform – monopod assist.

    Comments greatly appreciated...

Very nice, love the color, the sharpness and how he is position at the end of the perch. Wish the front wing raise a bit so it doesn't block the body.
