I wasn't sure if this would be appealing to anyone but me, so I thought I would post it to get some feedback. Sometimes I get so enamored with mangroves that I may not see them as most do. And it seems this photo may lend itself to the current assignment. I purposely made the ripples in the water for effect.
This was shot on Biscayne Bay in the morning.
    Sony a700, 70-400mm Sony lens @ 130 mm
    f7.1, 1/250, ISO400
    PP, some warming filter added
    Thanks for looking! Connie

    Hi Connie,
This image has a sepia quality to it...I like the composition and the shadow detail is very nice...the added ripples add character to your composition...well done...

Hi Connie - I like it - has a nice feel to it - the golden tones give it warmth. Personally I might just crop the dark section off the bottom - just personal taste though.
    Congrats :)

Connie this is cool. I would crop some from the FG only because those ripples are not in focus, love the warm feeling. great job:)

Thank you all, and very good suggestions as always. I'm glad you find the photo pleasing. And your feedback goes with me when I am out there in the field (or on the water as it were) with the goal of improving the look of the photo subject.:D
