Robert, I like the intensity of the action, and the salmon obviously come off second best. Love the sprayed water, and the gulls waiting for scraps add to the image. Although you say the image is level, and Im not doubring you, I believe levelling the shoreline wouldnt put the bears off balance. Just a thought. Cheers.

Love the action, those eyes and the blood from the fish. Lots to enjoy. Feel a tad off the saturation may enhance. TFS

FG is a little distracting to me but easily cropped, otherwise nice action shot and something I hope to witness next year at Lake Clark :)

I think your right David. I am looking at the tiff and not that saturated. Sometimes I forget to knock down saturation when I make the JPG which always increases it somewhat. Thanks.

I would in a perfect world have preferred this without the foreground birds, if I had seen this earlier I would also have commented on the saturation.

The main subject is great "action" shot, who kept the fish?

fantastic action! is it actually a salmon or are they struggling over a gull?? :)
I agree it could do with less FG and in a perfect world, without the birds in front and around. gorgeous light and overall an image I wish was mine...

Powerful and gorgeous light. I might clip a little of the foreground?

Awesome action capture, Robert. The explosion of eggs is particularly nice. Gulls are tough to work around from mid-summer on. They don't distract from the action at all for me on this one. Well done!

Good action shot Robert as it shows the power of these awesome mammals. Love the seagulls framing the action part of the photo.
