this one really pops Chris. how close were you?

what was the error code for? I got one in Kruger that said Error 01, faulty communication with lens. when I switched off the camera and on again it was working again, but kept receiving that error now and again. took in the camera and lens and ended up having to recalibrate my lens, but still got the error once in kgalagadi.

Bad luck with the error Chris, but this guy certainly does pop from the BG. I would maybe add a bit of saturation to him. Not an animal often seen in Kruger, but having said that, with my recent trip, we saw eleven of them on three different occasions.

Chris, The 1/125 sec panning blur (see paw) sharp on the head and shoulders gives this image a 3D look. Well done.

Super sharpness and details Chris. Like the 3d effect and what you did with the bg. Nicely balanced lighting.

I think that this pops a little too much for me.

I used to get lots of errors with my 100-400, even on a 1D body, it was usually fixed by removing and replacing the battery.
