Nice pose with the spread wings. HA good. Looks as though it has had a pretty low perch in the roost!

I also like the pose and wing spread. On my laptop the head looks a little soft. Perhaps another round of sharpening would help? Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Jeff

    hope you are well. :)

I hope you like what I changed. I patched out a few spots in the grass, and the two OOF posts in the rear. Added +2 blacks to the blacks and neutrals in selective color adjustments and used curves to darken it just a little as I feel that it is bright and perhaps due to the harsh-looking light. Then quick masked the head and neck, inverted selection and sharpened just that area with smart sharpen 124/.3px.

Nice wing spread and as Tony said, looks like this fellow or girl was a glutton for bird poops.

Like the changes, might be a tad dark on parts and the head (it can be light compared to the body) but the repost is a betterment.

Thanks Akos, nice hearing from a long time friend again.

Nice catch on the BG items, those details are important and improve the over all image.

Hi Jeff - Akos repost works for me - head area did look a little soft before, a little more DOF might have been in order with a bump of ISO. Wonder if this guy has a complex ??

Lance, they sit on different levels of power line structures,.. and you know what flows down-hill.
