These tiny blue mushrooms were photographed in rainforest on the southern coast of Victoria, Australia. The tallest specimen would be less than an inch tall.

There's almost an irridescent quality to the blue and particularly around the base of the stem. Very neat. Excellent image. Looks very sharp to me. No distractions in the background. And you've managed to capture the dark environment in which mushrooms grow very well with your dual flashes. Good job.
What a cool bunch of mushrooms and such a great capture of them! Love the blue, I never seen anything like it - orange is about as exciting ones we get here. I really like the way the delicate stems look like they're almost floating instead of rooted in the ground! Very cool!!
One of my favorites John, very very good. The fungi look like they are glowing. The flash were so skillfully used that the image looks like it was naturally lit.
I'm jealous of anyone who gets an opportunity to make images of these little fungi... The color is outstanding. Maybe a little more room at the bottom so the small mushroom to the left isn't so close to the edge of the frame. Very nice work.
