Wow Denise, I can almost touch him. Beautiful exposure and perfectly sharpened. Love the webbing on the feet and the in focus sand really makes this one stand out. Can't get any better than this. Congrats

Denise, I love this one. Great light and a complimentary (or is it complementary???) BKGR. Sharp, and a very fresh bird for late September.

Exposure techs are good. I love the low angle and DoF perspective with bird and earth. Point of focus is spot-on!

Nice light angle to add texture to the image - well done.

Beautiful image, Denise. Excellent light and details on the feathers. I like the hint of water shining near the semiplamated feet.

Im really enjoying your series of these guys Denise. He seems so relaxed, and captured in soft light. Yes, the BG does compliment the plover.

Simply stunning! Even the little pebbles by the feet are gleaming.

    Hi Denise.
Super shot, I prefer this one to the image you posted on 23/09/2009. I prefer the foreground and comp.
Super detail on the bird, great light, good detail and nice angle.

The colors in your shot Denise are really, really nice. My only nit is the blue bg area near the birds rump that seems out of place. I do like all the little pebbles around his feet though.
