    This was taken on my just completed trip to Yellowstone. I used the Sigmonster to isolate the 2 backlit bison. I did the B&W conversion in PS.

    I like the mood and the rim lighting really adds to this. Seems like you got alot of nice scapes on your trip. I like the conversion and the use of B&W was a great idea. The mist on the diagonal looks really nice. Does it need a tiny CW rotation?

    Excellent conversion Roman! There's a huge tonal range in this image and it really adds drama. I love your timing on getting the bison before they get into the smokiness and the rim lighting on their backs is beautiful.

    My one thought is that maybe more detail and tonal range could be brought out in the smoke/gases if you did a little selective burning and dodging.

    nicely done to get enough separation between the bison and the background. Looks like you're having an amazing time.
