    Default Perched Red-tailed

Red-tailed relaxing on a perch, could not get him to fly, Seems to be smiling at the camera :D

It's not a super flight shot, but thought you may like to see this beauty up close.

A beauty indeed. Nice and sharp with good exposure. Looks like it could use a bit more contrast from here. I like the muted colors in the perch. A little head turn would have been perfect.

Beautiful bird. Like the pose the whole image is sharp. Great job. :) Sometimes you just have to sit there and wait for them to move. Or i like to whistle that gets there attention:D

Arash: Well composed and exposed. It shows nicely the signature markings of this lovely bird. I wonder if just a bit of saturation in the eye might help.

Sweet image Arash ..... agree on darkening the head area just a bit, crisp and beautiful image. Sharp and great feel !!!

Looks great to me. I like perched birds, and I like this perch even though it is a man made post. The overall image looks like it could be a tad darker. But that is so monitor dependent I only offer it as one input.

Very sharp, nice pose, good exposure, I don't mind about the HA. Agree about darkening the bright area a bit.

Lots to like about this one :) Techs covered above - just a tad darker for my personal tastes :)

shot techs look good Arash, congrats on getting close enough for this one.
I have often seen hawks stay pretty calm/still if they have prey in sight and be quite approachable.

Tried a few minor tweaks that may be an option for you.
    White balance,
Levels adjust to "spread" the histogram
    saturate eye, beak and legs
raised black point a bit and sharpened selectively
Just some options to explore......nice image

I noticed the cyan cast earlier today at work but wasn't totally sure because of the laptop screen I was on. But what you just did takes an already very good image to a totally different level. That's eye opening. Thanks!

Thanks Dave for taking the time to edit the photo everything looks good, except for the eye which is kinda of red and not natural.

I like the last post best. Have you tried a different crop? I was thinking of taking off something like about 1/2 measuring on the left side. You can try it with just scrolling the photo down to the point. Again very nice looking bird.
