Hi all. Some of you have seen this before, just wanted to post it as an example.

I shot the sky and the bird, the lightning is an effect. ;)

Indranil, the "burning eyes" is exactly the look I was going for here. However, this is not an eye that you see glowing, rather it is the olfactory opening (nostril). The eye is the dark spot you see just under the wing. Turkey vultures have the largest olfactory system of any bird. They can smell carrion a mile away. They are also the only scavenger bird that is not capable of killing its prey. They can only feed on carrion. I find them to be fascinating.
