    Default Posing Hummer

I took this photo about a month ago in the late rainy afternoon ours in Mexico City. This male Broadbill Hummingbird noticed me and looked at me curiously. Comments are appreciated as always. Thanks for looking.

A different perspective from a Hummer image, and this works for me, symmetry at its best. I like the colours on the chest, and how are those tiny feet.

Interesting pose and good BG. Is the bill open or does it just look like it? I would run NR on the BG.

Did you hang a flower off your lens hood?? :-)

I like the pose, we don't see this vantage point too often with hummers. Image details seem to be suffering a bit. Big crop?

A very nice shot. Perspective is good. Looks like a jewel.

I also wonder why so little details, but I LOVE the pose. It's a Jesus bird. :) And before anyone wants to chastise me, I am a Roman Catholic. :D The iridescent colors are super!

Great post, need flash settings. I assume ETTL, maybe -2 (SWAG). Not sure about lose of detail, is it a tad underexposed - how does hist look?

On balance, cool image and unique pose.
